In the past, ive found that some of my best roads to self discovery have been by going through alterntives like my martial arts training and even looking into crystals. Sometimes life throws us curveballs and we have to find new ways around them than going straight ahead. There are also times where our paths cross with other people along the way who open our eyes in a new direction or teaches us something new. These inspirational stories show just how meaningful these experiences can be for us in growing spiritually or finding peace within ourselves. There's a saying that I know of that goes something like "Before you are spiritual, you are material." (That's not necessarily true, but it is somewhat close.) The idea behind this saying is that before you can be truly happy in life, you have to develop yourself as a whole person "spiritually." At some point in your life, you're going to realize that you've been drifting along as a material person... That's just the way things are. We all do it... Over time, you become a more spiritual person... but you still have to do the work to become that person.

Conclusion
The journey towards greater understanding is never finished. We don't always have the answers, but even more important than that, we don't always need them. Sometimes it's perfectly fine to stop thinking about and dwelling on certain things in life and just accept that things are the way they are for a reason...
Some things will never be understood in life... and that's perfectly fine. That doesn't mean we should quit trying to find the answers. There are many things about this world we can understand with the right guidance and if you're looking for something to do with your time, why not start seeking? Someone else has probably already found what you're looking for...
