I can recall a time in my life where I was having a really difficult time with controlling my anger. I remember being so angry at someone, and even though I was trying to be nice and calm, I ended up screaming at the top of my lungs! The person in question ended up being a close friend of mine.

I'm not sure if it was because I was too angry for her to remain calm herself, or if I just didn't have the control. But the sad part is that she got angry back at me because she thought that I wasn't being friendly enough and that's why she started getting mad.

The crazy thing was that I was trying to be nice and calm, but I guess my anger just got the best of me. I remember getting so frustrated that I ended up grabbing a chair from the next table and slammed it on the ground. Talk about childishly acting out!

Not only that, but after things calmed down with my friend, she had to take me home because I couldn't drive because of how angry and "out of control" I felt. Driving would have been a bad idea anyway because even if there were no other people on the road, I'd probably still had an accident. My adrenaline was pumping through my veins as though someone had given me high doses of energy drinks without warning.

I had never felt that way before in my life, which is the primary reason why I got so mad. It was as though I didn't have control over myself anymore, or like some force beyond my control was moving me in a very angry direction.

But after that incident with my friend, and joining an anger management course as well as finding ways to manage my thoughts and control my anger easily, I've been able to keep most of those negative emotions from happening again. It's hard to describe how exactly I learned how to do this, but the main thing I can say is that finding ways to let off steam has really helped me cope with all of the anger issues I used to have.

How do you learn to control your thoughts and manage your anger? You must ask yourself these simple questions:

1. What are your feelings like when you get angry? What are they like while being angry? How do they change after a while and how do they respond to different situations?

2. What are the thoughts you have while being angry? How long do they last? Do they change with time?

3. What do your friends think and say about your angry behavior? What kind of responses do you get from people when you lose it or become aggressive in general?

4. Who is the closest person to you that might be able to help calm you down if needed? If there's somebody within a reasonable distance who knows how to handle anger, trust them and ask for their help. You'll thank yourself in the end.

5. Once you've gotten over your wild emotions, what's left behind is something called negative self-talk. What kinds of things are you repeating to yourself while in a bad mood?

6. What were you saying to yourself when you were being angry? How did your friends respond? How did the situation look from their perspective?

7. If anger continues to control your emotions, what might be stopping it from controlling you completely? Are there any physical reasons that might be causing strong feelings in a situation?

What's the Secret To Controlling Thoughts & Managing Anger Easily?
It takes time and practice for us to learn how to handle ourselves better when we're angry. This process can be difficult and time-consuming, but the benefits we get from becoming a calmer person is so great that it's worth it.

The first step in controlling our thoughts and managing our anger easily is to change the way we feel. The only way to accomplish this feat is to find ways for us to consistently manage our emotions. We must practice regularly, or else we'll never become better as time goes by.

We need to practice making ourselves feel like we're at ease, rather than being in a state of constant rage or anxiety. By doing this, we're telling our mind that it's okay to stay calm and relaxed, and that we can feel like this all the time. I believe there are three main ways to practice staying calm whenever we want:

1. Eat Right – the food you eat plays a large role in how you feel. We know this from experience because after eating lots of junk food, we tend to get really sluggish and tired. On the other hand, if we eat something healthy for breakfast or for lunch, we'll be feeling energetic awhile afterwards.

Eating right makes us feel better because it keeps our bodies in tip-top shape and energized. The first thing that happens when we eat something unhealthy is that we start feeling sluggish. This doesn't happen right away, but after eating a lot of junky foods for a long period of time, we'll start feeling tired and sluggish.

Once you're in a better state of mind, you can start working on controlling your thoughts and managing your anger easily. Of course this takes time, but if you keep at it, eventually you'll improve your overall moods to the point where nothing can get to you anymore.

2. Exercise – hardcore physical exercise can make us tired, but it has a very positive effect on our bodies and energy levels if we do it regularly. I used to be a workout freak, but after a while I found that I became too tired to do anything else. But the good news is that even though I was physically tired, my mind was much calmer than before!

Even if you're not the active type, try getting up from your chair and walking around for a few minutes every hour or so. A short 5-minute walk can make you feel much better, and when you come back from that little walk feeling refreshed, you'll find it easier to focus on your work or other tasks at hand.

Conclusion: My Anger Management Battle

I will admit that I still have trouble controlling my thoughts and emotions. I'll get angry sometimes, but it's nothing compared to what I used to be like. There are times when I'll get angry at things that shouldn't make me upset, but I'm learning how to control and manage these feelings as well.

Although it's difficult to "let go" of our anger and other negative emotions, it's possible if we're determined enough. Why not give it a shot? You don't have anything to lose, because if you never learn how to handle yourself better when you're angry, you'll always be at the mercy of your emotions.
