Environmental Stresses And What They Mean To You

Pollution, habitat loss, climate change and many other environmental stresses are wreaking havoc on our planet. And while these things may be far from your daily worries, the reality is that they could have serious impacts on your quality of life.

Learn about some of the most important environmental stresses and how they're affecting you, as well as what you can do to help!

4.6 Online Communities - Quora

Quora is a Q&A website composed of various knowledge communities ("Quorums") such as "Books", "Languages,"and "Movies". Users can post questions and an answer to them gets selected based on popularity or other factors or users can answer existing ones. Reading a simple question to "What book should I read next?", then you can see how best you might answer it. This demonstrates exactly the type of content that is found on this site, so it's very easy to see what content these users are seeking.

This allows us to more accurately understand the information they're seeking. In addition, Quora is one of the largest and most popular sites in English, which means that we're able to gather a lot more data than individual users would find on their own.

Key Points: Quora has 40 million monthly active users (MAU), with an average of 120 questions asked and answered daily.

4.7 Twitter

Twitter just like other sites is a really big information hub. It's used by people all around the world to share their thoughts and ideas, organizations and celebrities use it to report news, products and companies are using Twitter to sell their product or services. Much like Facebook, Twitter users are more than likely to be interested in a variety of different topics and based on how they tweet about these topics, we can understand which topics they're most interested in!

Key Points: Twitter has more than 300 million MAU and half of those users access it via mobile devices!

4.8 Reddit - /r/MachineLearning/

Reddit is one of the most powerful free marketing tool in existence today. It's a user generated news site and you can create your own community called a subreddit focused on your niche or industry. You can use this subreddit to connect with new people, answer questions, post the latest news and updates, and promote content.

After joining Reddit you will be able to create a reddit username for yourself. This name is how you'll be referenced throughout the website so it's important to choose something that helps people remember who you are! When creating your account, you should consider using your brand name in the username or creating an account that clearly states what business you represent. For example "marcjohnsmith" would be an ideal reddit username for someone who runs the "Marc John Smith" Consulting business.

Key Points: Reddit has 600 million monthly users and 80% of its content is generated by the user base!

The purpose of this project was to build a platform that could support the community of learning developers and provide them with relevant, timely content. In addition, the platform will be able to aggregate all learning content in an effective way so that the community will be able to find what they're looking for quickly.

6.1 QUESTION MAPPING

Learning is a process of finding your own answers by thinking, exploring and problem solving. You can start with the question "What is machine learning? Understand that the answers are often not simply true or false. The question can vary in terms of right or wrong, but rather on what information is available to you at that time and how you interpret it.

In order to find your own answer to the question, you'll need to understand what information you're working with. This means gathering as much data relevant to the topic as possible while avoiding bias and irrelevant information; this will ensure that your understanding of the subject is sound.

By following the thought process of asking questions about the questions and answering them, we're able to create a learning path for our users. This process will help you to generate interest in machine learning and in turn increase your knowledge of it. In addition, it's possible that you may experience a 'lightbulb' moment where you suddenly see how everything fits together and your eyes are opened!

6.2 MAIN LESSONS

For this project I'll present 5 different lessons, each with their own unique benefit and challenge.

6.2.1 Lesson 1: Introduction to Machine Learning

Introduction to Machine Learning is a great way to learn what machine learning is, in order to answer the question "What is machine learning?". The purpose of this lesson will be to give you an overview of the topic and show you just how much it can impact your life.

One thing to note is that while it's important to know what machine learning is, it's even more important that you know why it's significant. This lesson will allow you to have a clear understanding of how the world has changed before and after ML was introduced in real-world applications such as social media, search engines and Netflix.

6.2.2 Lesson 2: What is Artificial Intelligence?

What is Artificial Intelligence? is a continuation of the previous lesson. In this lesson, you'll take the next step in your learning journey and find out what's actually makes machines intelligent. Specifically you'll find out the difference between general vs nongeneral intelligence and how computer science has done it before; you'll also learn how ML works with AI to create a symbiotic relationship where they help each other improve.

6.2.3 Lesson 3: How Does Machine Learning Work?

How Does Machine Learning Work? is a lesson designed to help you gain a full understanding of how machine learning actually works. You'll learn the difference between supervised vs unsupervised machine learning and just how they function differently while solving the same problem. In addition, you'll be able to understand why deep learning has become such a prominent term in ML and why it's so useful in solving complex problems.

6.2.4 Lesson 4: What is Deep Learning?

What is Deep Learning? is a lesson that will focus on deep learning and how it relates to the overall ML landscape. Specifically we'll look at how deep learning relates to neural networks, what linear regression and classification are, how they work and how they're useful in a variety of different applications.
