Knowing your potential business customers.

 Knowing your potential business customers.

Do you constantly second guess what your customer wants? Are you asking yourself the wrong questions in your business meeting or at industry events? As a business owner, one of the most important things to do is to know who your potential customers are and what they want. Every customer has a different set of needs; this will help you provide them with what they want and make sure that it’s not too much or too little. For example, if you are an accounting firm, some might want budgeting and others might want tax return preparation only. If you are selling sunglasses, but someone is looking for prescription glasses then it would be irrelevant for them to buy the sunglasses that you’re trying to sell them.

Another way you can improve on this is by knowing who your customers are and what they want. This is made easy when you build a database of your current customers to determine what products or services they prefer from you. The other way that you can do so is by asking them directly. Whether it’s through referrals or simply through the phone, you need to find out who your potential customers are and what they want in order to give them what they want before they walk away with something else.

So how do we know if someone has actually bought our product? Often times, we don’t because most people won’t tell us that we have succeeded in getting their business. However, there is a way to look for it. When you want to know if someone has purchased your product, here are some of the ways you can do this:
-If the response that you get from your marketing is “no thank you” or direct “no” then chances are that they might have purchased it. -Look at the log-in information on their account so that they can tell if they have ever used your product. This gives you an idea how often people use your product and whether or not they like it. -When someone purchases something from ecommerce sites, take note of what products they were looking for based on their search terms (what kind of products did they search for). When you see the same search terms you can easily find out that they were looking for products such as those that you sell. -If someone has a referral code, their friend will be happy to let you know whether or not they used it to purchase your product.
It is important when choosing your potential customer to understand what they want and what they are looking for in order to help them get the right things on your website. Doing that will put more money in your pocket rather than losing it because of bad business decisions. You will have chances to earn more money by asking them instead of guessing if they have purchased something or not.
