Law Of Attraction: How To Work The Power Of Visualization

Have you ever felt out of control? Stuck? Feeling like there's no way out of a situation that seems impossible to change?

If this sounds familiar, it is possible that you're not seeing yourself or your life in the right way. A lot of people have trouble visualizing themselves succeeding and changing their lives because they spend too much time thinking about what they don't want and not enough time thinking about what they do want. I feel like this is a common mistake people make on the road to manifesting their desires through the law of attraction.
Because we all want the same thing -- to be happy, healthy, successful and financially stable -- it's important that we understand how to properly visualize.
But why is it so important for us to visualize?
By learning how to imagine yourself in a certain state, you will have a tool that will help you achieve your goals. When you can imagine yourself being where you want to be and having what you want, it will create the desire in your subconscious mind that allows all of this to become a reality.
So, our first step is to learn how to create a vision board.  A vision board is a collage of pictures that represent the things you want in your life. It's a tool used to enhance your goal-setting process by helping you keep track of your visions over time and encouraging you to constantly bring them into your consciousness.
So, here's how we're going to go about doing this:
How To Create Your Vision Board:
Step 1: Start With One Photo That Represents Your Goal
For example, let's say you wanted to manifest a new car. You could take an image from the internet or make one yourself with some basic digital editing software like Photoshop Elements .
Find an image of a car that is the color you want and represents the type of car you like. You might have a picture of a red sports car that reminds you of the one you want to buy or a picture of a black SUV with four-wheel drive and tinted windows that reminds you of what kind of vehicle would fit your lifestyle if you lived in the mountains.
Step 2: Add Pictures That Represent Your Goal
Add different pictures around your essential image, whether it be other cars, images related to wealth/success (like watches or dollar bills), images related to health (like healthy food or outdoor activities) or images related to reaching goals (like running).  You can also use inspirational quotes from books and magazines.
Step 3: Add Pictures That Represent The Desired Outcome
After you have your central, essential image of the goal you're working on, write down a few sentences representing how you will feel when this goal has been reached. Notice what pictures pop into your head as you think about this. Let these be images that represent the life you want to live when the goal is completed. Think about what the lifestyle would be like, even the surroundings where this goal would be reached.
Step 4: Add Pictures That Represent What You Need To Do
Add pictures that represent what you need to do in order to reach your ultimate goal (like getting money if it's a financial goal). These are called action triggers.
Step 5: Add Pictures That Represent Negative Thoughts And Feelings
Add pictures that represent your doubt and negative feelings toward your goal. These are called action triggers.
This process will take a while, so don't try to rush it. Go through magazines and the internet, or scan in images you like from books or other resources you have (such as photos of your family, friends and pets). When you're done with one board, put it up somewhere where you can see it often. Over time, this board will become a powerful visual reminder of what you want your life to look like when your goal is reached. This will help keep the law of attraction working for you as well as any other manifesting tools.
This is the very first step in creating your vision board. If you'd like help designing your boards or working on manifesting your goals, I would love to work with you! Want help? Email me at lawofattractionhypnotherapy@gmail.com
