Learning French: What Makes The Language Unique?
The French language is unlike any other in the world, and understanding its unique characteristics will help you master it more easily. In this post, we'll cover some of the core aspects of French that are different from English and other languages.
One of the most notable features is gender agreement: masculine words have a different form than feminine words and vice versa, which can be tricky for native English speakers to remember! Plus, there are 13 noun cases instead of just 3 (in English). Prepare to spend a lot more time on your declensions!
Introducing: The New Tech Blog by Samson Rizvi
In this blog post I'm going to teach you how to build an online blog without any coding. I'll show you the five required steps to create a simple yet effective blog using a custom software called Wordpress. The number one reason I'm starting my blog is to teach anyone who wants to learn the French language how to do it without having to write code or spend hours learning about HTML, CSS, PHP and other languages.
Here are the five steps in this tutorial:
1. Sign up for a free Wordpress account, then sign in and download WordPress. (You can follow this tutorial as I did it.)
2. Click "Install Plugins" on the left sidebar of your WordPress account's dashboard and install the popular plugin named "Yoast SEO" from wordpress.org website.
3. Add a title and your website's description and click "Save" to create a page for your blog.
4. Click on the "Pages" tab in WordPress' dashboard, then click on the "Add New" button, add an article in the French language (I recommend writing the article on Google Docs first) and publish it.
5. Scroll down to see all your published articles, or go to https://www.yoursiteurl.com/fr/blog to see them all in French!
