Self Help Anxiety
Self-help anxiety is when people start to become more and more afraid of self-improvement, because they feel a sense that there are only so many things one can achieve in their lifetime, and what would be the point if it ultimately makes no difference. Others can't help feeling like once you've accomplished all you can do in life, that is all there is left. They feel stuck with no possibility of escaping or changing anything about themselves. These people may not be able to handle these fears, and they start to become immobilized by them.
So what is the solution? The answer that I would like to suggest is to actually accept life while it is happening; while you are alive, while you can do things, and while you can try. You must accept these moments as they occur in life, just as they come.
I want to outline some of the practical aspects of this way of thinking. You have to accept your moment by moment nature of life and not try to change anything that is happening. You can't make it any different, but you can embrace it and enjoy every moment of your life while it occurs. If you are afraid of something, embrace that fear as a fear, a chance to improve yourself. It may be that existence had no meaning at all, there is nothing we can do but just exist and enjoy where we are right now.
Do not fear change, but embrace it. If you are comfortable with change try to find the things that you can control, and improve those things. You can't control everything that happens to you in your life, but you can do some of it yourself. These thoughts are what cause self-help anxiety: people may become demoralized and lose hope when they see themselves losing control of their lives and their destiny. If you are not in control of your life, then it will be left to chance, or fate. These thoughts that cause the self-help anxiety are negative and create a feeling of helplessness. People just feel helpless in their lives and cannot seem to do anything at all to change it.
The key is not to fear change, but embrace it and make the necessary changes as you may need them. If there are things in your life that can be changed, change them. I wouldn't suggest if you feel depressed that you go out and kill yourself. That suicide is horrible and such a terrible way to end your life. But suicide may be the only way to escape the idea of being stuck with all these negative thoughts that cause self-help anxiety. To leave the world but at least know that there is nothing left to do but commit suicide, and only yourself can stop you.
You have to accept who you are, and not try to change who you are. Accepting yourself completely means accepting your flaws as well. If you don't consciously acknowledge the bad things about yourself, then they will grow inside of you like cancer and eventually take over your life. Admitting these flaws can be painful but it's necessary for growth and self-improvement.
Self-help anxiety is also tied up with fear of others, or other people's perception of others. For example, your mother may be so worried about your future that she doesn't want you to go off to college and get a job. She's afraid that you will end up being like a lot of people in her generation who never finished high school or college and had to work at menial labor jobs for the rest of their lives. If you want to improve yourself, then you have to take on the task of getting out from under the control of your mother. You have to make your own decisions even if you know that's it's going to upset her.
I think one of the biggest fears that people have is fear of death. People fear death because they do not understand it. People fear death because they will be no more. But once you accept your mortality, then you also realize that everything you are doing right now is too important to ignore. Death looks very unimportant in comparison. And remember that the act of accepting death itself is one of the most important choices you can make.
The funny thing is that few people actually fear death, but they worry about dying anyway. The fear of death is what causes self-help anxiety: your mind may be plagued with thoughts about your own mortality and you won't be able to escape from these thoughts.
I believe that there are no limitations of success or failure in life except the ones we put on ourselves. You just have to accept what is and make the best of it. You can't change everything, but you can change some things. And those are the things that are worth changing.
In conclusion, self-help anxiety is a problem of accepting present moments as they come and not trying to change them. In order to escape this anxiety is to just enjoy life exactly as it comes; accept your mortality and embrace it because if you don't then life will become overwhelming because there's nothing else in your future anyway except death.

The biggest fear of people is definitely death. They would love to stop aging and stay forever young but they are stuck with the idea that everything ends once you reach a certain age.
