Self-help Audio Books Offer 7 Jumpstart Titles To Perk Up Your Mind

What's the ultimate way to boost your positivity and mental well-being? Put on a self-help audio book, of course!

Self-help audio books are a great quick read or listen. They offer plenty of advice for how to look at life, overcome negative thoughts, get out of bad moods, improve relationships with others … and so much more.

And if you're looking for a way to self-improve, there's no better
time to get started than now! It's a new year – and a great time to make
and then keep on track with your goals. If you're ready to turn it all
around and make 2013 your best year ever, get these 7 Self-Help Audio Books for the New Year.

The Art of Happiness by Dalai Lama and Howard Cutler

This is the first self-help book I ever owned. If there was a self-help book to inspire me to be more positive, this would be the one. It's a great toolkit for dealing with life's challenges – negative thoughts and otherwise – in an effective way.

The 5 Love Languages by Gary Chapman

Using the 5 Love Languages framework – Physical Touch, Words of Affirmation, Quality Time, Gifts and Acts of Service – Dr. Chapman reveals what makes your partner feel most loved during different types of interactions. He also explains how to experience love in the way that you prefer so you can give and receive love most effectively. This is a great tool for making a long-term love relationship really work.

Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill

Following Josh Hill's editorial, this is the most inspirational of all self-help audiobooks. It's a great toolkit for taking control of your life and achieving personal goals like wealth, career success and more.

The Power of Positive Thinking by Norman Vincent Peale

Norman Vincent Peale revealed the secrets to building belief in life – which are virtually timeless. They apply to everyone, no matter your level of faith. It's a great book for getting out of negative thinking and into positive.

Don't Sweat the Small Stuff … And It's All Small Stuff by Richard Carlson

This is probably one of the best guides you'll find to dealing with life's everyday challenges. In this book, Carlson provides a clear-cut formula for achieving peace of mind in any situation by applying simple and effective methods.

The Playbook For The Rest Of Your Life by Neil Strauss

Neil Strauss is the author of The Game: Penetrating the Secret Society of Pickup Artists. A true topic for some, but not as much for others. Still, it's a great tool for understanding psychology and the way it works.

I highly recommend that you use this list of self-help audio books as a guideline for your own audio book purchases. Some self-help books are more in-depth than others. And some just fit a particular category…whatever category you like. As I mentioned above, I find subconsciousness, self-help and personal development to be the most fun and rewarding. So if you want a more fun way to improve your life, check out these 7 Self-Help Audio Books for the New Year!

Self-Help Audio Book Online & Offline Listening Options [ARTICLE START]
This is a two-part blog post on self-help audio books. Part 1 talks about ways to listen to self help audio books online or on your phone or computer.

Conclusion & Part 2
In part 1, I will discuss two options for listening to self help audiobooks online and offline. The second part of this blog post discusses using iTunes, a desktop or laptop computer to download audio books to it. As far as I am concerned, there are two ways to listen to some self-help audio books. The first option is to listen on your phone or computer with internet access. The second option is the same as the first option but you can listen with no internet access.
