The fact is, you get what you give. You can't control what someone else does or says to you, but you can choose how to respond to it. We're all in this together; we're all part of each other's lives. So if someone hurts our feelings, let's decide that we don't want to be hurt by them anymore, and let's stop being hurt by them! Think about it... You wouldn't want someone to keep talking in your ear if you thought they were saying really, really mean things. So why do we put up with it? Stop letting the little things that people say or do bother you so much. It's really not that big of a deal. You have way too much important stuff to focus on anyways!

A person's first love is always perfect until someone better comes along. The first time you fall in love, it changes your life forever, and no matter what happens, no matter how much pain you go through, it will always be the best love you've ever had. You never forget your first love.

Sometimes, you have to let go of what you thought you wanted so that you can have what you actually need. I think that's one of the hardest things to accept, but once we do, it opens up a whole new world for us. And then sometimes we don't know what we have until it's gone. We could be blindsided by not realizing how great of a person or situation we had in our lives. We may even sabotage it because we're afraid to lose it and then regret the choices that led us to losing it. But you know what? That's all part of the journey. It's our life, and we have to embrace every moment of it and not just the good times because it's all a part of us growing into who we're meant to be.

"Hope is being able to see that there is light despite all of the darkness." -Randy Pausch ..... "You don't get what you wish for, you get what you work for." – Unknown .....

"Everyone wants happiness, nobody wants pain. But you can't have a rainbow without a little rain." - Anonymous ..... "The more you praise and celebrate your life, the more there is in life to celebrate." - Oprah Winfrey ..... "Seize the moment. Remember all those girls who are too busy to cook simply wait for things to come to them." - Marilyn Monroe .....

"Three grand essentials to happiness in this life are something to do, something to love, and something to hope for." – Joseph Addison ..... "Life begins at the end of your comfort zone." – Neale Donald Walsch .....

"The truly creative mind in any field is no more than this: a human creature born abnormally, inhumanly sensitive. To them a touch is a blow, a sound is a noise, a misfortune is a tragedy, a joy is an ecstasy, a friend is someone to cherish and share all of the above with." - Isaac Bashevis Singer .....

"How you react to the events in your life will determine your future. What you do today can improve all your tomorrows." - Dennis Kimbro ..... "Life doesn't give you what you want sometimes. It gives you what it wants for you." - Unknown .....

"We are shaped and fashioned by what we love." – Johann Wolfgang von Goethe ..... "Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it." - Ferris Bueller ..... "You can always find someone to tell you that [your idea] won't work. But that is not what will make your idea succeed. It's going to be your persistence. It's going to be the facts that back up your idea, and the faith that if you pursue it, it will happen." – Steve Jobs ..... "It's never too late to be who you might have been." – George Eliot .....

"When I was 5 years old I had a conversation with God. I asked him if he existed. He said, 'Yes.' I said, 'Prove it.

Conclusion: It IS better to be loved than feared.

What is the difference between a success and a failure? The answer is attitude. A successful person will say "That's not a problem" while the other one is saying "That's a problem!" A successful person will see an obstacle as something that is there to help him/her to reach his goal, while the other will see it as an obstacle.
