The Secret - Interview With John Harricharan (Q3)
When I interviewed John Harricharan, the CEO and President of a marketing company called Networthify, I knew it would be a fun project. However, what I didn't experience was anything that resembled the interview as it typically goes.
As we talked about his company's services and the results of their recent study on blockchain technology, he told me about how he started working for Big Lots back when he was still in college in order to make money for his education. He also revealed that just before our interview began, he became an uncle again! In fact amidst all this exciting news, John wasn't able to focus on much else as we continued talking through our lunch break.
When we returned to the office, I asked him if he felt like the interview had the flow of an actual conversation or if it felt more like a monologue, he said: "Those are really good questions man. I would call it more a monologue because you weren't really listening to what I was saying. That's a fair point." We continued talking about things like his extremely long name and why we're not allowed to call him by anything else other than John. He also revealed that writing an article about our talk may be tough due to his difficult phone and internet reception in the office.
When we began our discussion, I mentioned that I'm interested in playing the guitar and he couldn't stop talking about one of his friends who is a professional musician. He also revealed that after high school, he came to Seattle to attend the University of Washington.
He also talked about how his parents always have a positive influence on him and how he may have even gotten in trouble for texting during their visit because his conversation was so interesting. To end the interview, we talked about how his name is so long and why people call him by it all the time.
I'm not quite sure what to expect from the release of this interview. However, I know that it's going to be completely different than the Q&A format that has become popular within cryptocurrency media. Once I decide on a release date, I will inform you guys!
