$1148 in One Day Working With Plants?  You Bet!

Do you want to learn how to grow thousands of dollars worth of plants in just a day? You might be saying "Yes!" if you are thinking about getting into the marijuana industry. Of course, weed is not the only way to make big green stuff. There are plenty of other methods besides cannabis as well.

For example, did you know that it is possible to plant 47 pounds of seedlings in just one haircut? That's right! It takes 47 haircuts from an average human head for a pound of leafy greens (1/8th inch diameter).

If you are a mobile gardener and can make $50,000 worth of greens in one year with two trips per week, then you are looking at more than $108,000 worth of greens. That's only 5 1/2 years for a million dollars. Not bad!

I would never use that information to trick people into thinking they could get rich quick by starting a weed farm. I would use that information to show these people who think they have no choice but to join the marijuana industry, that they have other choices.

For example, let's look into the restaurant industry as an alternative way to make money growing leafy greens. According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, there are over 6 million restaurant employees in the United States. In other words, there are 6 million people out there who could get into the marijuana industry if they wanted to (however, I don't know a single one that does…).

The same report also states that workers at these restaurants earn an average of $9.04 an hour or $23,640 a year. No matter how much you think you can learn from a cannabis grow op, you will never make nearly as much money as restaurant work pays out!

I hated working in a kitchen when I was growing up and still hate it now. It's not because I don't like to cook. It's because I hate being told what to do.

I tried working as a dishwasher since all I had to do was tell people, "NO." Not worth it!

I tried being a bus boy for two weeks and lasted about one day. The tips were good but the work was miserable!

One of my friends who went off to school for culinary arts came back begging me to trade places with him so he could get out of the kitchen. As soon as the school year started, he quit and went back home for a couple months before landing on another job as a hot dog vendor at Costco.
