Patel shines with Sunbelt business brokerage chain
One of the most influential decisions in my life was to open a business brokerage firm. Patel Sunbelt is an international business brokerage firm with offices in Tampa, Orlando, and Fort Lauderdale. I originally just wanted to offer consulting services because I believe that helping others is where true fulfillment comes from and it's hard to find satisfaction when you're working for someone else. But my brokerage has grown into a small business empire with offices throughout Florida and Georgia. I've learned many lessons along the way, but there are three things that continue to stand out as turning points in my career.
The first important lesson I learned was how to be a leader. Although there are many qualities that make up a good leader, conviction is the most important factor because it's the foundation of all other leadership skills. Strong convictions ensure that you'll have consistent and proven performance no matter what obstacles come your way. Everyone knows what they're going to get when they hire Patel Sunbelt - an honest, hard-working negotiator who will always do their best to help them achieve their real estate goals. But that's only half of the story. It's also important to keep your convictions up even when the odds are against you because occasionally you'll have to fight through adversity, and you can be sure that it will never be easy.
The second important lesson I've learned is that actions speak louder than words. A good leader always does what they say they're going to do - even if it means taking tough decisions or showing a little grit. One thing I'm proud of is how Patel Sunbelt has overcome some very difficult times over the past few years and I believe this was due in large part to the consistency of our leadership approach.
