E-Commerce Business – Proceed With Caution

We’ve come to rely on e-commerce businesses for everything from groceries to clothes. But just because it's easy, doesn't mean it's easy. If you're considering starting an e-commerce business, proceed with caution! Take a look at these 12 things you need to know before diving in and starting your own business:

1. Determining a niche is of the utmost importance for any e-commerce store, so take the time and do some research about your product and what people might be interested in buying. You don't want to spend all the money with nothing coming back out at the end of it all!
2. Investing in a website with a good domain name is a must. A good domain name helps to attract customers and also serves as an identifier for your store.
3. Make sure you have great product images and descriptions as well as a clear call to action to convert your visitors into buyers!
4. Choose the right payment processor so that you can accept all the different types of credit cards and other payment options for your business. It's very important for you to be able to accept whatever types of payments are most convenient for you!
5. It's great to have a backup plan! Don't just hope the e-commerce store you're planning will do well. Have a backup plan when it comes to product sourcing, marketing, and other aspects of your business.
6. Look for ways to get repeat customers so that you can increase your revenue and your profit as soon as possible.
7. If you're capable of designing cute merchandise for sale on your website, then make sure that you have the skills in place so that you can create cute products for sale on your website.
8. Make sure you have a clear blogging or social media strategy in place so that you can get leads from people who are already interested in what it is about your business.
9. Don't neglect your search engine optimization, here is a great article   on how to do that.
10. Don't just grow your business with zero customer service. Make sure you have the people and processes in place to help customers and answer questions for them when they contact you about your e-commerce business.
11. Don't try to reinvent the wheel and create something completely new when it comes to merchandising - look at other e-commerce businesses who have done it before you and see what they're doing right! You can then emulate them by choosing items that are already selling well and adding them to your own store that way!
12. Make sure to keep all receipts for everything you buy for your business. You'll need them when it comes to taxes and accounting, as well as other business needs!
Doing e-commerce the right way will help you to avoid a lot of headaches so that your store can thrive.
After all, mistakes can put a real damper on sales.
I hope these 12 tips were helpful.

Without a doubt, most of us can't imagine being anything other than students. We're excited about our studies, and we're eager to learn. But sometimes, even if you love what you're doing, school can feel like it's sucking the life out of you.  You could be grappling with school-related stress or feeling completely overwhelmed with all the work you have to do. If that describes you, then this article is for you! In today's post I'm going to introduce a simple but powerful technique that will make your life at school way easier and happier. And best of all, this technique will allow you to do your schoolwork anywhere, any time , and get the most out of your studies. The technique I'm referring to is called "Time-blocking." Time-blocking is a method of organizing your time at school so that you don't feel overwhelmed or disorganized. It's also a great way to help you prioritize, plan work effectively, and give you more energy and motivation when you need it most! What is Time-Blocking?  Time-blocking is a very straightforward concept. Basically, it means dividing up your days/weeks/months into huge chunks called "time blocks. " Each time block represents a short period of time that is specifically identified. For example, one day could be designated as 30 minutes , and then another day as 90 minutes .  Every time block you choose, you will focus on a specific type of task for that duration of time, and complete it almost entirely. For example, if you choose to work on school assignments for a 90-minute block of time, then you commit yourself not just to working on school assignments but also being sure not to get distracted by other things while working on your schoolwork. This is a great way to stay focused on your studies! Another example would be choosing a 30-minute block of time where you do nothing except socialize with friends.  If you decide that this is the case, then in your mind it's very important to keep yourself off social media and other distracting things while you're with friends (or family). What's so special about Time-Blocking? There are many reasons why time-blocking can help students perform better than they normally would. One reason is that time-blocking encourages you to prioritize your tasks. You'll be much more motivated to finish a specific project when you're only giving yourself 30 minutes to work on it, instead of trying to spread out your schoolwork and working on that one project for several hours. Time-blocking can also help you improve your efficiency. When you know exactly how long you have to work on something, then it's easier for you to focus on that task and complete it quickly. And last but not least, time-blocking can help you avoid procrastination. When you have a very specific amount of time that you need to complete a task, then there's no chance for procrastination. If you choose to devote one entire hour to working on your schoolwork, then once that hour is up you're going to be finished with all your schoolwork for the day and won't be tempted to spend the rest of the afternoon doing other things. With these reasons in mind, I highly recommend using time-blocking when it comes to managing your studies! How do I use Time-Blocking?  Time-blocking is super simple and easy to do.

Conclusion Our tiny planet is a prison for all of the humans who live on it.
Leonid Ilyich Brezhnev, Soviet Union's president, 1978-1982 A few weeks ago I was asked to comment on an article that was critical of the U.S. military and the Pentagon's approach to cyber security. The article was published in the Washington Post, one of those high-quality sources of political news, analysis, and commentary that we can find in U.S. papers and online publications everyday around the globe (just so you know my bias).
