This way you are on the safe side and don't hire anyone with a bad name. I would personally recommend movers in Chicago . The best thing for you to do is to hire a moving company that will take care of the entire process of moving - storage, load. From there on the movers only need to bring the items and let you unpack. This way you won't have any problems and they can focus their less time on packing. Also make sure that they have insurance just in case there is a damage done during transit. Once I hired them I called them and told them that I want my items packed at our storage in Chicago IL (where we are staying). They did a great job and it took them a quite some time to finish, but in the end everything was OK. They were really good at what they do and I'm glad that I hired them. There are a lot of moving companies out there that will haul your stuff for you. There are also places such as Craigslist where you can find people who will move for relatively cheap prices all around the world. I would recommend going online and searching for these kinds of people to see if they can help you out with your move. You will have to be okay with the fact that you won't be able to get a written quote from them because of the distance between you and these movers and with the lack of accountability. I would recommend hiring movers in Chicago because they are very professional. I hired them a few weeks ago when my office moved and they did a great job. They kept their promises, were very punctual, easy to reach on phone, and friendly people. Also when I needed some box tape they delivered quickly and at a good price.

In fact, there are many moving companies that offer discounted rates for all service members and their families.
