FULL COLOR POSTCARDS AN INEXPENSIVE ADVERTISING ALTERNATIVE

Postcards are a great advertising tool, but they can be expensive. Why not try something new? POSTCARDS! They are colorful, fun, and have an inexpensive advertising quality. They don't even need to cost you much money if you know how to make them yourself. You simply need a printer, some ink and paint brushes, as well as your own creativity. Even if you're just trying it out for the first time and don't know where to start, I recommend looking at Pinterest for inspiration pictures or themes that interest you like nature or animals.
Postcards are a great way to spread the word about your new business or event to your friends, family and the community. If you're planning an event such as a party, wedding, or a fundraiser thank you cards are a perfect item to send out after. It will be remembered.
If you're trying to start a business and have a website postcards can be created for free at places like Vistaprint or Tiny Prints . You can also check out some of the templates on those websites for what kind of design would work best for your product. Making your own postcard doesn't mean you're limited in any way, in fact it's the opposite. You're limited by what your imagination can conjure up.
You don't have to send just one postcard at a time, in fact I'm sure you've seen the ones with multiple pages postcards are a great way to send out a mini brochure or details about your business on a smaller scale and then stay in touch with them by sending out emails or newsletters after that. Postcards are also great for feedback! Every time I send out a postcard I always get comments back on what people liked and didn't like about the design and my ideas. Your friends and family are great for getting feedback as well.
Postcards could also be used in the workplace like a business card, but on a larger scale. If you have a new product or service that is being released your boss would most likely want you to send out postcards to your customers. I used this as an example because it's happened to me before when I worked at My Gym we had just opened up a new location and I had to send out postcards inviting kids to the grand opening of our new facility. It's also a great way to have your boss remember you especially if you're trying to get a promotion.
Postcards are an inexpensive advertising alternative, and can really show off your creativity. For the little amount of money that they actually cost it's totally worth giving it a try.  If you have any other questions or suggestions on how I can improve this article please feel free to comment below!

Conclusion:
Postcards are an inexpensive way to advertise your business, company or event and generally don't cost more than 10-15 cents each. They may not be the first thing that comes to mind when starting a business, but as they say "if you've got nothing to lose, then you've got nothing to lose". Postcards are a quick and easy way to talk to your friends, family and community about what you do. They're also a great way for customers of the businesses in the area to keep in touch with their favorite places or learn about new things.
