How Can You Lure Consumers Into Loving Your Brand?
Business is about making the customer feel good about using your product. We are often told to make our followers, prospects, and customers feel like part of a club. To connect with them on topics that are important to them. But how can you do that? There are a few ways to start tapping into this idea by focusing on what's important for your customers.

ATTENTION: This blog post is about how to build, promote, and take your brand to the next level when it comes to business. It does not concern you using Tumblr for blogging about anything other then fashion, beauty, or lifestyle.
This blog also does not concern advertisements or promotion of any kind; this blog is intended solely for informative value and teaching your audience how you can use your company's actions to help them grow as a product.
Another thing that will make the customer feel good about their purchase is knowing that they are contributing to a humanitarian cause.
To begin with, I would like to start off by explaining one of my personal favorite charities: The Heifer International organization. The Heifer International organization is all about giving people the power to lead self-reliant lives. This is done by setting up business and agricultural projects, like raising livestock and growing crops. They also offer training for sustainable livelihoods and support for those who want to stay in their own communities. The Heifer International organization assists poor families living in the developing world with a gift that keeps on giving.
So how can you promote this?

Here is a graph showing what happened when the Heifer International organization introduced a new project called Catch the Rise, which helped communities in Kenya catch fish.
At the beginning, the people of Nanyuki river would fish and trade their catch for rice. However, after the Heifer International organization introduced Catching the Rise project, fish became a good source of protein for people living in Nanyuki. As a result, locals started fishing twice or three times per week. Traders started to see that there was market potential on catching fish and so they began to invest in fishing lines. More than 3300 households in Nanyuki now have access to restock their food supply thanks to this project. On top of this, almost 900 families are enjoying new income sources thanks to selling their catches as well as training from Heifer International organization's staff.

Now how can you do this? The main thing is to follow these two steps: First ask yourself "what is the main problem the customer has?" Then, once you have that answer, look for the best way to solve it.
If we look at the beauty industry for example, there are a few things that people may find problematic: They don't feel confident enough in their skin. They would like to be able to afford products. They may have a long and annoying work schedule, which means they don't have much time for themselves. They may not feel close enough to their loved ones. They may not feel like they get enough from their job.
With this, we can work out ways to solve these problems. For example, if the customer is afraid of their skin, one way this can be solved is by giving them products that will make them feel more confident about themselves and look good in the mirror. You could do this with a product called One Love Beauty which helps you take care of your skin and treat it kindly on a daily basis.
You could also help customers who don't have money by creating something that they would be able to afford, at least for now while they save up for it. You could do this by giving them a product like the Too Cool For School Dinoplatz in Seoul eye pencil because it's priced at only $12.
You could also help customers who don't have time by creating something that they can use in no time at all, and that has multiple uses. You could do this by giving them a product like the Etude House Drawing Eyebrow that, instead of just making eyebrow look darker and thicker, it creates eyebrow harmony index through its 3-dimensional eyebrow sketch function. This is especially helpful for when you're in a rush and would like to get out of the door as quickly as possible.
You could help them feel closer to loved ones by giving them a product that makes you look good, that can be easily paired with their wardrobe, and that has a variety of uses. You could do this with the ZAO Happiness Line which has made it big in the US as an indie brand now sold in Sephora. The product has over 50 products including skincare, hair care, accessories and makeup.
Finally, you could help customers who don't feel like they have enough get something that will give them a boost of motivation so they can go back to the office even after their 40-hour work week has ended.
Conclusion
This is the third post in a series that talks about the topics of communication, marketing and advertising. In the first, we talked about what communication is and about the different forms of it. In the second, all about marketing and advertising. And, in this one, we talked about what it takes to succeed in each of these practices: finding out what customers want and knowing how to provide it to them.
So, at this point we've looked at what every company must know when they want to take their business upmarket. We've also looked at how such a move can affect both your clients and your employees.
