So, You Wanna Be A Super Affiliate? Let's Look At Marketing a Niche with Resell Rights...
Ever wanted to be a super affiliate and make a killing in the market without doing much work? Well, you’ve come to the right place!
We’re going over how you can market a niche with resell rights and rake in tons of money without lifting a finger. You’re about to learn:
- Different ways to make marketing for your niche much easier
- What people are looking for when buying from an affiliate - How you can capitalize on those wants and needs and turn it into dollars.
So buckle up, because this is gonna be quite the ride!
P.S. We’ll be using Warrior Forum in this case study as an example, but you can use most of the ideas for any forum out there.
And here we go!
So let's say that your chosen niche is ebooks (because you love writing them). What are some books that you could write about? How about: "How to Write Ebooks & Have Them Sell For You"…or "How to Market Ebooks In A Niche"…or even more specific topics such as, "How to Market Cooking Ebooks"...(did it grab your interest yet?)…
Or you could write something general such as: "Ebook Marketing Secrets"...or even better...
"The Complete Guide To Getting Started With Ebook Marketing"…
You get the idea.
So, you’ve decided on a niche and now you've got to come up with a title…
But a lot of affiliates are bad at coming up with titles…and it holds them back from making a lot of money. Why? Because if you want to make some money, your title needs to be catchy enough that people will click on it…but not so over-exaggerated that they think it’s spam and will just pass by the sales page. So let's talk about how to do that...
Now, there are a couple of different ways to come up with a title. So I want to show you one of them...but before I do that…
"Remember: picking an affiliate niche is only half the work"
Actually, it's really only the first step! (I wish we could say that about all things in life…but alas...)
If you want to pick sales pages around an "affiliate niche", you need to have SOME idea of some products that people will be interested in.
For example, let's say you're going to target ebooks, but want to do it as an affiliate. How do you know what to promote?
The first thing we need to do is find out what people are looking for when buying books about that niche. Most likely, if the niche isn't saturated with out of date information (which a lot of niches are) then someone is buying from their favorite author or book publisher. Let your target market do the selling for you and find out what they want before "choosing" a niche to market in.
…and that's where RESELL RIGHTS come into play. What is Resell Rights?
RESELL RIGHTS are the right to use a product and resell it, usually for a fee. Resell rights are paid by publishers, authors or others selling the rights to their products online.
This is HUGE! (I know I'm making super affiliate sound like a super hero…but it's true.) By buying resale rights, you can make money without actually buying products or making them yourself. We’ll go more into resale rights in another article...but for now, let's focus on how to use them.
I know what you're thinking: "Geeze, the first thing I want to do when trying to market a niche is learn about marketing! Where can I get started at?"
I'll put it this way: There's a way to make money without spending any money at all if you know where to buy it. You heard me right: without spending any money of your own.
So let's say that you decide that ebooks are the niche for you.
And you have a few ideas on what you want to promote.
How do we go about finding some product (s) to sell?
Well, there are a TON of places where you can find great products to sell.
For example, here's a short list of places where you can find products: FACEBOOK - Look in special interest groups and groups that are active in your niche and see what they're talking about...or posting...and then try to find related products that they might be interested in. FORUM SPAM – Oh I know, I'm going over spamming forums again…but it works! So start a thread and ask your questions or post your links in the forums related to your niche. ATTENDS – Attend your local conferences and get to know people in your niche by talking to them and meeting them at the events. Don't limit yourself to SMBs or "small" businesses. Go to the bigger conferences and talk to the SOX managers (that's a business event focused on starting small businesses.) AWARENESS DAYS- There are tons of national awareness days going on all around the country. Try finding a day that's in alignment with your niche and then go out and give free seminars about it. Check out this page and ask your local organizations what they're planning on doing to promote awareness and education within their communities. SPONSOR A WEB SITES – Some websites don't want to sell their website's products, but they want to use their name in exchange for that brand being linked from the site. If you can find an interest group (like someone mentioned above) that is active in your niche, see if you can get a "websites for sale" website sponsored for you by the group. Teach others how to make money with supplements or ebooks and then sell your own affiliate link for a product. And so on...and so forth.
But remember: RESELL ITEMS ARE NOT TRACKED! (They're not hard to find if you're a nosey person, but you might want to be careful…people can get...unusual...about things like that.) So, BEFORE you start trying to find products or advertisers with resale rights, make sure you do your homework and get an idea of what people are buying.
Now, after researching the products that people are buying and learning about their profit potential…it's time to write a sales letter.
So let's go over how to write a sales letter...
