How Being a Job Seeker Feels
I've been a job seeker for years. In my 26 years of living, I've experienced the stressors that come with the job search process.
Spend your days pounding pavement, networking non-stop and even going to networking events looking for a new position . Don't worry – most people don't have it this bad . Although very few options are available  in your field , there are some general guidelines you can follow to help you through the job search process . If you stick to these rules , you should have an easier time finding a new position.

It’s the time of year when we’re supposed to reflect on the past and think of ways we can improve our lives in the future. And while I can’t help you with your resolutions (I will, however, suggest a few things), I can help you with a few things you may be doing wrong in your job search .
Getting through one job interview is difficult enough; getting through multiple interviews at different companies is even tougher. If there are several companies interviewing you, it’s important to remember that each of these interviews is essentially for a different position .
Some job applicants interview with several companies in hopes of getting that big break that will change their lives. But you really only want to interview with one company for a specific position . If you get the call from more than one company, try not to let it stress you out . Just keep in mind that once the company makes an offer, it is too late to cancel and pursue a different position .
It’s always important when doing a search to make sure you research the company thoroughly. This means knowing who the top players are and what they are all about . You should also know if they are located close enough to your home so that you can start on day one.

Conclusion
There are no guarantees in life, but the odds of getting hired after being unemployed are very high. Most people who have experienced long periods of unemployment are able to get new jobs without any difficulty , and many of them find a job at a better company than they left .
What may make you more susceptible to unemployment is the number of jobs that you already have, or whether you are planning for your retirement . If you don’t want to be unemployed for any extended period, make certain that those two considerations are not on your radar .
To break this cycle means learning how the economy actually works. Sure, companies go through ups and downs , but so do individuals .
