If all you are doing is complaining in your newsletter, then that's going to reflect badly on your business in the end.
3) Keep it short!
Your newsletter should only have one or two paragraphs of content at most. Your subscribers aren't looking for a never-ending lecture from you on some topic like "how to do marketing". They want you to show them what's going on right now, but also in the near future.
Don't forget that your newsletter has to be worth someone's time every month. If you can't make that happen, then maybe you aren't doing things the right way.
