A Brochure « Greeting C.B. Richardson, Ph.D. Introduction
A brochure is a document of communication that typically contains text, graphics, and/or photographs. They are used to advertise or inform about a particular subject or to instruct about an expected service or product. Brochures come in many different sizes and forms, including cards, handouts, folders, and pamphlets.
A brochure can be a one-of-a-kind work of art or it can be mass-produced with the aid of computer software (website) and printed on paper that may be recycled when the print run is complete.
Some brochures are designed and printed locally and others are designed, printed and distributed by a third party.
It's important for you to know about your organization's brochure because it can be the next step in getting your message noticed.
Whether a new branch library is looking to update the current look of their library or an advertising agency is looking to promote a brand new campaign; whether an insurance company wants to boost awareness of their products or a gardening business is looking to raise interest in their products; understanding the functions that come with having one will help you use it well.
1) Purpose: The purpose of your brochure can make many different kinds of spreads, some focused on conveying information, others focused on providing visual images.
2) Design: Your design will range from basic printing by hand to subtle color changes, depending on the intended purpose of your brochure.
3) Content: Content is what goes into your brochure so it s how you tell the story.
4) Distribution: Who will have access to it? Will it be for internal use only or can your clients have access to it (if you work in a different field)?
5) How often will you update it? Every time something new comes out can be too much, sometimes not enough.
6) Outreach: Outreach is your brochure being used for the purpose for which it was created.
7) Feedback: Feedback will help develop ideas on your next brochure and also based on its distribution.
8) Conclusion: There is no conclusion because this is not a one-time event; your brochure will likely evolve.

Do you promote your business using social media websites? (Facebook, Twitter etc. Are you using them in conjunction with other marketing tools or is it just something to add on?)
Social Media Marketing
Social media marketing, also called social media, is the use of digital technologies to create, distribute, and manage information and ideas. It is a form of Internet marketing that allows users to create personal profiles on social networking websites such as Facebook and Twitter. "Social media" usually means platforms such as Twitter or Tumblr. Such sites are often used in conjunction with email campaigns or online advertising, including display ads with links back to the home page of the business. Social media does not have to be limited only to a single website either. Businesses, brands, products and services can all maintain a social presence with links and updates available across multiple platforms.
