It is possible that there will be stray paper copies of this directory available in libraries but most businesses are now exclusively operating through computers of some kind so it seemed necessary to work from that angle first. The main purpose of this project is to give people an alternative to the phone book — and to allow people who do not have access to certain kinds of technology easy access to this useful information. It will also help with issues like recycling and waste because it is paperless. And last but certainly not least, it is just more efficient!
