Snack Vending Machine – All Sizes, Shapes, Colors And Snacks

Snack vending machines are one of the fastest-growing segments of the vending machine industry. They have evolved from simple machines that dispensed a limited assortment of chips, pretzels and candy bars to those with a diverse menu that includes not only snacks but also drinks, sandwiches and desserts.
At some facilities, snacks represent up to 60% of the items sold in snack vending machines.
Today's sophisticated snack vendors offer many types of snack foods, including salty snacks like potato chips; sweet snacks such as cookies or ice cream bars; and frozen treats like slushy ices or yogurt popsicles.
The vending machine industry is greatly expanding the types of snacks that are sold in machines. In addition to the traditional flavors of chips, pretzels and candy bars, snack vendors have added new choices like frozen soft drinks and yogurt popsicles.
Some vending machine manufacturers are even offering healthy choices, such as fruit juice blends made with whole fruit or gelatin-filled candies that are low on fat but high in fiber.
The diet sodas that were first sold in vending machines have given way to non-sugar-sweetened cup sweeteners and other non-sugar beverages. Snack machines offer a wide variety of options for players who want to make healthier beverage choices or who want a treat for themselves without the calories.
Vending machines with bright, eye-catching graphics and creative packages attract customers who might otherwise ignore a regular snack vending machine.
The diversity of snack foods available in today's vending machines has created a more varied, exciting product mix. Vendors can stock snacks for children (such as candy and fruit drinks), for teens (popcorn), for adults (dried fruit bars), for athletes (energy bars) or for seniors (whole grain cookies).
For some companies, snacks are a snack vending machine's primary product category. For other facilities, snacks form only part of the menu in the vending machine.
Many organizations such as schools and hospitals have special snack vending machine needs, such as child-proofing and ADA compliance.
By pre-selling snack vending machines, organizations can reduce their inventory costs. Pre-selling reduces an organization's theft liability, since there would be no product in the machine if it were not yet sold.
During a 2-week period of trial operation, vending machine operators sell snack vending machine equipment to customers. The customer pays only for the equipment once the customer takes ownership of the equipment and places it in their location.
Before they are delivered to their location, snack vending machines are usually customized to meet customer specifications. Customers often change the type of snacks in the machines or adjust certain features such as credit card readers and candy bars dispensers.
The customized machines reach the customer faster. They don't have to be assembled, tested and labeled. This can save time and money.
