Folding and Mailing,Statement Processing: More than Printing

A lot of individuals think that when they are done with their documents, just sending them in the mail is enough to make them legally binding. These people would be in for a rude awakening if they tried to use any one of the following methods.

First, folding and mailing a document is considered to be simply printing - which has no legal meaning whatsoever. Second, depending on how you sign your name or how you stamp your seal, there might not even be any need for notarization at all! Thirdly, there are some cases where it's mandatory that you send a document back through the mail so that it can be verified by Confirm Receipt service.

As you can see, there are a lot more that you can do to make your document legal and binding. Some of the most common tasks like faxing, photocopying, scanning and signing can all be used in order to achieve this goal. It's true that these methods still won't have the same effect as sending the document through a courier, but at least now you know exactly what needs to go into it.

Also, don't forget that everything is related to business transactions - so if you are applying for an insurance policy or doing some work for a company, they will need the original document in order to process your claim.

If you want to get your documents legal, you need to make sure that the person who signs it is the actual person who made it and that each of your signatures are signed at least twice.

I hope this article gave you information on how you should compose and send documents in order to get a legal binding. Keep in mind that the more people sign your document legally, the stronger it becomes.

Sharing is caring!
