How To Get FREE High PR ONE-WAY Backlinks To Your Website Using Articles

SEO rule number one: Backlinks are the key to success. Simply put, the more backlinks you have to your site or blog, the higher you'll rank in search engines. So how do you get traffic and backlinks?

Link exchanges and blog commenting time consuming and tedious, but they're still one of the easiest ways to get your blog noticed by others. It's also a good way to make friends out there. However, if you really want to take your backlink profile up a notch, then consider writing articles on high PR blogs with a strong focus on your niche. That's what I do and it works.

So how do you get started? Here are general steps to follow:

1. Find high PR article sites in your niche. If you're an affiliate marketer, for example, then search for a few sites in your niche (make sure they are high PR otherwise you'll be wasting your time)

Once you find a few good sites, look at their "Submit Articles" page. You'll likely see something like this:

Check the publishing schedule and make sure they accept your article topics before submitting it to them. I've submitted articles that were immediately rejected by some article directories because my topic was not sufficient enough.

2. Write a unique, interesting and relevant article that will attract the interest of their readers and benefit your blog or website: If you want to increase traffic to your site or blog, then provide something that he reader wants. It could be an article or review on your site or blog, a mini-course, a guide, or just about anything you can come up with.

You could even get more specific and write an article for them specifically on what your site or blog offers. This way it is more likely to generate traffic because they know you're promoting a product that they are interested in (or they are curious about).

If you do create unique content on their site, make sure to add links back to your blog (the link should go directly to the site, not a page within the site).

I know it's a pain, but if you are successful submitting an article to them, then you'll get your backlink without doing any work. This is exactly what happened to me with one of the article directories I mentioned above. I submitted an article on "How To Improve Your Blogs Backlinks" and it was immediately approved.

Since the article focused on their niche, both Eric and Mark at seomatters.com responded and contacted me asking for more information about my site or blog, which led to my getting more linking opportunities from them. I decided to write a follow-up article about guest blogging on other sites as well because they were interested in this aspect of SEO as well.

3. Submit your article to other high PR sites or blogs in your niche: You should have more than one article on the same site if you want to get more links. Make sure to include a link back to your blog in the content so that you can get a backlink, too. Otherwise, all it is is someone jumping around and submitting content to other sites without giving much thought about possible benefits for both parties. That's not good (and should be avoided).

4. Share or distribute your articles through social networks such as Facebook and Twitter: This step is easier than you think and will really help boost your rankings in search engines. Most sites won't mind this as long as they are getting links and traffic from their readers.

5. Track your results and monitor your backlink profile: Looking at your backlinks is important because it's another way to gauge how well you're doing with your SEO strategy.

That's it! This strategy has helped me get more traffic, links and visitors to my blog as well as more opportunities to write articles on high PR sites within my niche. You can make some money from writing articles for these types of sites as well (just be sure to check their policy).

Some of the directories that I recommend are: http://www.howtogetfreedvd.com/ http://www.guidetowebmastering.org/ http://www.make-money-online.information/ http://www.makeuseof.com/ http://www.seomasters.com/ http://www.thearticlebuzz.com/ http://www.economistconfidential.com/ http://www.masterjulesbloggerideas.com/ http://www.ezinearticlesdirectory.com/ http://www.articlecity.com/ http://www.mycontentbuilder.com/

Some of the article directories are a bit trickier than others, but if you can get them to link to your site or blog, then you'll be getting some quality links that will really help boost your ranking in search engines. Good luck!

The 27 Biggest Mistakes Made by New and Beginning Affiliate Marketers
Not all mistakes will lead to epic fail…some mistakes can be small, simple and plain stupid . Even though these mistakes might seem like a harmless slip-up to you at the time, there are times when they can have an important impact on your affiliate marketing career .

Here are the 27 biggest mistakes affiliate marketers make in their business before they even get off the ground…

1. Not Doing Your Research: Before you go off and start promoting a product you have no clue about, it's imperative that you do your research first. By doing your research, you'll be able to find out things such as how well the product sells, whether it is a good fit for your niche, what buzz there is around it in terms of search terms, etc. This way you can build up a solid list of keywords that will help you with organic marketing later on when you do start promoting products in earnest.

2. Not Testing The Products: Even if you have the best intentions of giving a product a fair shot, it can be difficult to separate your own personal opinions from what's actually working. Instead of relying on your gut feeling to decide whether or not something is working out, you should invest in split testing instead. By testing different variations of your landing pages, ads and sales pitches, you'll be able to see which ones are working best for you and which are not.

3. Not Having A Variety Of Products: There's no sense in having an affiliate marketing career if you're only promoting one type of product at a time.

Conclusion : Even though affiliate marketing can be a quick and easy way to make money online, it's not as simple as just promoting any old product you see at a random website. A lot of research needs to go into each and every product you promote, so if you're serious about this business then do your homework!

4. Not Having A Sales Funnel: One of the most basic yet important things you can have in your affiliate business is an email list. The reason why having an email list is so important is because it allows you to get on top of the people who are looking to purchase products from your niche without having to wait on them to come back to your site (which they might never do.
