Second annual packaging & label conference

Every year, the number of companies that packaging distributors has increased considerably and there is a lack of fresh skills. For this reason, The Danish Packaging Academy is organizing the co-operation with the best packaging industry experts in order to organize and educate professionals during September 2016, when Denmark will host the second annual conference.

The conference will be three days filled with hope, inspiration and new knowledge. It will include workshops on physical design, digital design and 3D printing as well as lectures on sustainability within packaging. This year's conference promises to be bigger than ever with more than 500 registered guests coming from countries such as Australia, New Zealand, United Kingdom , Italy etc.

Danish Packaging Academy is a non-profit organization, which was established in 2007. Its main purpose is to educate and develop new skills to professionals within the packaging industry. The Academy organizes different educational activities based on the needs and requests from its members.

In 2009 the Academy started with short term courses . In 2011 it started with a two-year program for students who want to pursue a career within packaging design and development. This program offers students education in packaging theory through theoretical lectures and workshops as well as providing them with an internship at one of Denmark's largest packaging distributors. The program is also linked to student loans, which will cover 80% of their education costs.
