Speed Up Your PC's Performance

One of the most common tasks people perform on a daily basis is using their PC, and we appreciate our computers for all the work they do. Luckily, there are several things you can do to ensure your OS stays working smoothly and quickly no matter how much work you put into it. Here are some quick tips that will help your PC run at its optimal performance level.

First, let's talk about software optimization. There are many different types of software that exist in these days and times, so it won't be easy to come up with just one tip on optimizing each program's performance. Nevertheless, here are some tips that will help you optimize the performance of your programs.

Optimize Desktop and Start Menu: The next time your computer boots up, you can run the "System Configuration" program to tune up both your desktop and start menu settings. To do this, just click on "start" and then press "All Programs -> Accessories -> System Tools -> System Configuration". In the window that pops up, select the "Desktop" tab at the top of the window. Then under the "Personalization" option located in the menu on the right side of your screen, click on "OK". Last but not least, press "OK" again to save changes to set a logoff time.

Optimize Internet Explorer: Your start menu should be configured to automatically open IE each time you sign on to your computer. If not, you may need to configure this setting with a program like "Internet Explorer Manager". To do this, launch IE and right click on the top left corner of the window and select "properties". Then go to the "General" tab and check the box next to "open windows using".

The next time you open IE, it will autostart as configured. Now that you have an auto-launching computer with a speedy start menu set up, we can move onto a different optimization tip - defragmenting your hard drive. This is one of the most important system optimization tips in this article because a hard drive that is not optimized will cause your computer to work harder than it needs to.

Defragmenting a hard drive will slightly slow down your computer when it's being run, but the benefits you receive from defragmenting your drive should outweigh any loss in performance. There are two different methods you can use to defragment your hard drive. Just remember, if you're going to do this task yourself, be sure you back up all your data! You never know when things might go wrong during the defragmentation process.

Method #1: Use Windows' own defragmentation software. To do this, just open the "Disk Defragmenter" program by clicking the start menu, then click "All Programs -> Accessories -> System Tools -> Disk Defragmenter". Click on the drive you want to defragment and press "Defragment Now".

Method #2: Use a third-party defragmentation program. My favorite third-party defragmentation software is the aptly named "Auslogics Disk Defrag". This program's interface is very simple, so even someone who has never used a disk defragger before should be able to use it after figuring out what to do.

There is also an easy way to defrag a hard drive on a Mac. Just use the built-in utility called "Disk Utility". To open Disk Utility, just click on your OS X's "Start" button and then press "Utilities". Next, select "Disk Utility" from the list displayed by clicking on it's name at the top of the window.

In order to free up space when it comes to your hard drive, you'll need to clean up some space by deleting files you don't need anymore. Go ahead and start deleting files you no longer need from your hard drive by double clicking them in the Finder. You can also remove these files just by dragging them off of your hard drive.

For now, that's all the tips I have for you on how to optimize your PC's performance. Although this article may not seem very long, it packs a lot of information about optimizing your computer for just a few minutes of reading. If you follow these tips and throw in a registry cleaning schedule every so often, you'll be sure to keep your PC performing at its optimal level!

Even though this article was intended for PCs, most of the steps are also applicable to Macs so check out how Mac users can optimize their system's performance here .

Amazon FBA or FBM (Fulfillment by Amazon) has been around since 2011. Amazon started offering Fulfillment by Amazon to sellers providing fulfillment services to sellers who are using Amazon.com Inc. as their warehouses.

Amazon is currently considering providing similar service for other digital marketplaces such as Etsy, Shopify, and eBay. eBay is the only one that has announced a date for the launch of this program. They plan to use StackAdapt's open platform to work with sellers on automation and optimization on their side.

StackAdapt's platform provides all the tools needed to create an automated or optimized seller store on eBay. FBA makes everything easier: inventory management, shipping, invoicing, order management etc...

StackAdapt's FBA Partner Program (FBP) is for small and medium sized merchants who want to automate their business and are ready to make the necessary changes to get started. Starting with basic features such as email notifications about orders, we will add new functionalities in each release.

All feedback is welcome and can be left in our FBP feedback section. This allows us to focus on building tools for sellers that will enable them automating their business processes. We look forward to hearing from you!

I recently moved into a new apartment and this means I have tons of stuff to put away...

Conclusion: I now have to spend hours going through all my old books and movies and throw out everything that is damaged or I no longer want.

This is a very time consuming process but fortunately there is an app for that.

It's called Unclouded, it lets you check which cloud drive has the file you are looking for. It also lets you delete files from your cloud drives and then it will delete them from your other devices as well. It's nice because it gives you a centralized list of all the files synced with your cloud drives so you can see if any files are synced twice or if any duplicates exist without having to go through each device individually to check.
