4-Character: In addition to fulfilling all the requirements set forth by the state law, you should also possess certain qualities as well. For example, you should be someone who is open-minded and likes change. Once you start working as a real estate broker in your area, several opportunities will arise which will allow you to continue learning new things and improving yourself as a professional. You should also be a person who has perseverance and a strong sense of self-confidence.
5-Flexibility: to be an active real estate broker you must have great flexibility. As this is a pretty big job it becomes quite difficult for you to set aside time to attend conferences and trainings. You also need to be able to work with people from many different countries and cultures and adapt quickly when things change. One of the great advantages of being an active real estate broker is that, as an independent entrepreneur, you can make your own schedule without any conflicts with clients or scheduled appointments.

7-Computer skills: to be a professional active real estate broker you must also know how to use a computer very well. This is because it is becoming more and more necessary as technology evolves and becomes better every day.
8-Commitment: As this job requires a lot of commitment, you should by no means be lazy or disorganized. Being organized will help you not miss any important deadlines such as showing houses at certain times or attending training sessions etc.
9-Self-motivation: You should also be self-motivated and love what you do. This will help you in the long run as you pursue your career as a real estate broker.
10-Goals: You must also have specific goals regarding what you want to achieve and how far you want to go with this job. For example, if you want to gain new clients and take on more projects for clients, then it is best that you make a detailed plan outlining all of your goals.
11-Consistency: Once you start working as an active real estate broker, your clients will notice it. They will begin to expect more from you and that's just what they should do. It is important that you stay consistent with all the promises and commitments that you make.

Either way, you will have plenty of time to develop your problem-solving skills and gain more knowledge in this job.
13-Marketing: As a real estate broker, you will also need to know how to advertise your services well in order for people to be aware of who you are and what you do. This is a very important part of the job. Without knowing how to market yourself, there is a very slim chance that you'll get new clients looking for houses or properties.
14-Sales skills: To be an active real estate broker it is essential that you have good sales skills as well. You should know how to negotiate with sellers and buyers without having any conflicts or problems on either side of the negotiation table. This is a very important skill because it will help you overcome any obstacles that arise before you get the deal done.
15-Sales experience: to be an active real estate broker it is essential that you have prior sales experience. This means that you must have worked in this industry or a similar one in order to gain some valuable experience.
