Raleigh, North Carolina is known for being a great place to live. We are one of the top cities to live in America and our quality of life ranks in the top 10 nationwide.
I personally chose Raleigh because I wanted to have access to outdoor activities like hiking and biking, our schools are great , and we have plenty of things to do from museums and festivals to community events .   All of these are considered amenities that make a place better than your average suburb or city.
The Triangle region (Raleigh, Durham , and Chapel Hill) continue to grow and attract new residents for a variety of reasons.   One reason is job opportunities.   According to Forbes Magazine , Raleigh was the number one place in the country for "high-tech hot spots," which is great for attracting and keeping young professionals in our area .   We also have a low cost of living and some of the best weather in America .
When it comes to deciding where you want to live, you should think about what features are important to you. For example, if you have children, do you want them going to good schools?   If so, then consider a place that has great schools.   Some of the things that can affect your quality of life are crime and safety, community involvement, diversity , and the cost of living .
