Your Auto Insurance Company For Extra Money?

There are so many auto insurance companies out there in the market and if you are looking for the best one to go with, you are going to want to do some research on them. Researching is a great idea because it will show you what their prices are so that at least you know what point of view they come from. You should also make sure that the company has good customer service reviews just incase you ever have a problem with them later on down the road.
If you do decide to go with one company and they do not give you the best premium or they decide to raise your premium for some reason, there is always the option of switching to another company. However, if you have a policy with them already and it is not very long until it is up for renewal, then you are going to want to think twice before switching. You should only do this if the premiums are drastically different or if they are just really difficult to deal with as a customer.
Some companies may be more than happy just getting your business while others will want you as a customer for life by providing the best services that they can for you. It will be in your best interest to find a company who sees you as a customer for life. They may even give you a little bit of a discount on their premiums if you stay with them for a certain amount of years or if you get an additional policy with them.
If you have decided to go with the company who gets your business over and over again, then it is not going to do any good to keep shopping around and switching every year or two. You will save yourself more money in the long run by staying with one company.
You should also know that some companies will offer different discounts on your premiums depending on what type of car it is that you drive. Some companies will offer better discounts if you drive an older model like a minivan or if you drive a newer model like a crossover. If you know what kind of car you are going to get soon, then it would be wise to consider getting that policy with the company who is willing to give you the best discount on your premiums.
If you have heard about all of this talk about auto insurance companies because of how they can make all of these extra money, then it is best not to take them at face value. Insurance companies are always looking for ways that they can make more money and they are going to do things in order to do so. It is up to you to decide which of the companies will actually be worth your hard earned money. You can always ask friends or get recommendations from people on the Internet about which company they have gone with and what they thought about them. It is almost as if you were a customer for life and you would really not want to put yourself in a position where your personal information was potentially compromised by accident.
Posted on:I am glad I found this website, after surfing through many automotive related websites, mainly just looking for something to read with no real focus on it. This website didn't let me down either.I am sure there are others out there that have experienced this but I hope this helps someone who experienced these tactics for themselves..

It appears that it is becoming normal for insurance companies to actually tell customers that it is a good idea to have an accident where we are not at fault because it will help them make more money off of our premiums. I have been told over and over again by my insurance company that this is part of their process. When I refuse to allow them to do this they threaten me with a cancellation. I have had to consult an attorney who told me that this is a violation of my rights as a consumer. There are many companies out there that will do this, but not all I suppose. Now the other big one I have heard or seen is they will actually list your claim on different sites for under no fault but then when you file your claim on the correct site it will be listed as the fault of another.. (they use their code word, if you don't know what it is look it up)but it doesn't matter what company you file with, they all do. It has been my experience that bigger companies seem to be more sneaky about their tactics than smaller companies..

I have gotten into an accident before and my car was totaled so I was surprised when I got the invoice for my insurance company to pay and it was much higher than expected. I thought that it was just going to be the value of my car but didn't expect the big hit on my insurance premium that I got as well. It appears that they were listing it as a no fault accident and now add all of these fees onto peoples premiums because of it..

They are literally making money off of our pain and suffering. I think this is wrong on so many levels..

It is true that when they look at your report they will see what the cause of the accident was and how much it is going to cost. They will charge you more based on this information..

I just got this phone call from my insurance company saying that we need to get our rating up and what we need to do for them to do this...the name of the representative was Erskine with State Farm. I called back and said I needed a supervisor and was told Lauren would be my new representative. I told her that the caller wanted to know what I was about to do and she said...what are you talking about? She was very confused by the question. I told her what she had just told me from the phone call and she asked again, since when does it matter what we do? I said that if we don't raise our rating they may just cancel our insurance. I have already experienced the tactics they are using and it is not fair. We have been loyal customers for years and this is how they treat us now?..

I have heard a few years ago they may even be adding your deductible as another charge for them..

Conclusion

I hope this article has helped you to see exactly how insurance companies are ripping us all off and how they are making 140.00 more profit off of us for doing nothing. I know that it is against the law for them to do this and it is such an unfair way of doing things, but they keep finding new ways to pull our money out of our pockets..
After reading over what we have gone through, reading all of the statements from these attorneys and contacting them myself I am just glad I took the time to write this article so that more people can be aware of what is going on and not fall into the same trap that I did.
