Can Face Exercises reverse signs of aging?

While some might say that wrinkles are a sign of wisdom (and, in many cases, they’re right), most people would prefer to avoid them. Even though these facial lines can’t be reversed with any one thing that you put on your skin, there are plenty of ways to stop or minimize them from getting worse.
One of the simplest is using face exercises. You don’t have to spend money on any creams or lotions; all you need is some time and a few minutes out of every day (though more is always better) to rejuvenate your skin by stretching it in new ways. There are a few of the most popular face exercises that you can try, and they’ll help you get rid of wrinkles around your mouth, eyes and forehead.
The first exercise is pretty simple: It’s called the "Jaw line tauting exercise," and it involves finding your jawline between your upper and lower lip, then pulling down on the skin between them. This works several facial muscles at once, including those in your neck and face. After a few tries, you may start to feel some tension, but try to persist because this is an important anti-aging technique.
Another exercise that’s wonderfully simple is to pull down on the corners of your mouth. While you may have to do this a few times to get it right, you’ll be able to feel the effect right away. You can also try pulling on your eyes and forehead areas; while it can take practice, you should feel your muscles start to work overtime.
You might notice that one of the most beneficial aspects of facial exercises is that they make you aware of your face. You know what’s wrong with it – or what’s right with it – more than most people do. Because we’re so used to not looking at our own faces, we really don’t know what they look like. You can be your own advocate for a younger, more healthy appearance.
While many wrinkles are hereditary, it is possible to prevent and even reverse them. Using simple exercises like these will help you to not worry about the little things. These face exercises are perfect for anyone who wants to look and feel their best.  You’ll start to see results in the mirror, but also in how you feel about yourself; it’s a great confidence booster to know that you look your best!

Face Exercises- how important are they and how do you do them?
If you are young, it is unlikely that you think about or even care about face exercises. But face exercises are just as important to your skin as any other muscle in your body. If you are looking to reduce the signs of aging that have taken hold of your skin, then I can tell you from experience, it helps to spend regular time exercising these muscles.
Many people are under the impression that wrinkles form because their skin loses flexibility with age. While this is true, it is not the whole story. Most wrinkles will form at the same time that your skin becomes less flexible. But these exercises can help to prevent and even reduce the appearance of wrinkles for you later in life.
You have probably noticed that many older people seem to have fine lines around their eyes and mouth which are smoothed away in younger people. This happens because you use these muscles every day as you speak, smile, frown and so on. As you grow older, it is much harder to keep these muscles in shape because you are not using them every day. It is important to begin exercising these muscles daily during your younger years because then it will be second nature for you later on.
Face Exercises Are Important!
Many people don't even realize that they are letting their muscles atrophy. The body is constantly sending messages to the brain, telling it how much exercise it needs to keep itself healthy and flexible. When you do not exercise your muscles, you are supposed to send a signal back to the brain saying that you can no longer use this muscle so stop making it active. Unfortunately, many people do not hear these messages and just let their muscles atrophy until they get so weak that they can't move them at all.
Face muscles are very special because you use them for so many different things. It is important to remember to exercise them several times each day or at least every other day. Never exercise too hard, as it is easy to strain and pull a muscle. If you do not feel any tingling in your face during exercise, then you should probably move on to another exercise while continuing with the current one.
Exercise 1: Jaw Line Tightening Exercise
Find your jaw line between your upper and lower lips, then pull down on the skin below your chin, and hold for 10 seconds. Repeat 3 times a day or every other day. Be careful not to over-tighten the muscle by pulling too far down or too hard. Relax the muscle before moving on to another exercise.
Exercise 2: Brow Tauting Exercise
Using an eyebrow pencil, define those inner brows (next to the nose). Use extreme pressure but do not actually rip them out. Use your hands to make the pencil line thinner and do not over-tighten; use to hair as leverage if needed. Do not over-do this exercise since it can lead to a permanent headache and claim is that it can cause glaucoma--in severe cases. You can perform this exercise 3 times a day or every other day.
Exercise 3: Eye Tauting Exercise
Using an eye pencil, define the outer corner of those eyes (that famous little slit).

Conclusion
The face is a muscle. Like any other muscle, you must exercise it to maintain or improve its function. Think about taking care of your muscles as you would take care of your heart or lungs.
While the age-old question "do we laugh or do we cry" still remains unanswered, there's no question that we laugh and cry at our faces. That's because our faces are made up of some very important muscles: the muscles involved in facial expression are some of the most powerful muscles in your body! The face is made up in two sets, and these can be made a bit stronger with a little self-motivation and patience.
