Have you ever felt like you spend more time in front of a computer screen than an actual human being? Or that your life has turned into one big Google search? Well, we here at MAIN have done the research for you and found the most awesome, informative and interesting sites on the web. If you are ready to start improving your knowledge-base or just kill some time online, check out these websites like Wikipedia, YouTube and Reddit.
1. Khan Academy- Khan Academy's simple yet addicting interface makes it a great website to learn something new, from math and history to productivity tricks and physical exercises. It's like YouTube, but with explanations! You can also check out other users' work and add your own. For example, if you're interested in learning more about coding or just want to improve your skills, you can find tutorials on specific languages or game-like challenges to sharpen your skills.

2. TED- Searching for a specific topic? Check out TED.com. This amazing site features ideas worth spreading in short, easy-to-watch videos. You can also check out conferences worldwide or watch stories that were submitted by everyday people who want to share something amazing. Or just browse the website!

For example, if you're interested in history, you can browse through the articles and read about different eras and important people.

6. Instagram – This is a great site for kids and parents alike. It's a social media app that allows you to take photos of your life and share it with friends and family. There are also special effects that make it look like animals, food or even rainbows are dancing on your photo.

Reddit Alien Blue – For those of you who are familiar with Reddit, Reddit Alien blue is just like a desktop version of the app. You can browse through all the posts and comments on a specific page and also post your own! You can also view other users' videos or "curate" your own collection by finding specific artists or related content in the trending tab.
