Do I need Health Insurance?
The Affordable Care Act has made some major changes to our healthcare system. Now more Americans than ever are facing the question, “Do I need health insurance?” Here's what you need to know before making a decision.
If you live in the U.S., have a job, and make an income of $10,000 or more (or $20,000 if you're married), then chances are that there will be some sort of taxation for not having health insurance. If your income falls below these limits (e.g., if you're unemployed) then it might not be worth getting health insurance just yet until your situation changes.
If you are single and make less than $20000 / year, then there is a penalty for not having health insurance (otherwise known as the "individual mandate"). If you're married and make less than $24000 / year, then there is a penalty for not having health insurance. The penalties for not having health insurance will only apply to people who don't have medical coverage starting January 1st of 2014 or later. So if you already had a policy before that date, then the tax penalty will apply starting with your 2015 taxes.
If you have a medical condition that requires medications to treat it or surgery to fix it, then you definitely need health insurance.
Most insurance plans have a deductible that you must pay before the insurance will pay for most medical costs. For example, Blue Cross Blue Shield offers plans for as little as $50 a month in a plan with a $2000 deductible.
If you rarely see your doctor, then health insurance might not be worth it for you. But if you go to the doctor regularly or take your child to the doctor's office regularly, then health insurance is likely worth it. You shouldn't go without health insurance if only because of the penalty described above.
Not having health insurance is definitely risky and could cause more than just financial problems that could last for many years.

Conclusion
This is an excellent book, but could have used more concise examples and a bit less technical jargon. I appreciate that the authors are trying to teach us how to recognize patterns in the market and understand what they mean, but I would ultimately advise that you consult a professional if you plan on becoming a day trader (it's very risky). The book would make an excellent reference for anybody, however.
The book is well researched with outstanding references. The type of technical analysis covered by this book is not normalized but mostly used for Fibonacci retracements (Fibonacci retracement). The applications from technical analysis are mostly done with price movements and with point & figure charts as well as other forms of charts.
